A tree rendered in glass mosaic across a wide, low panel — the format lets the canopy spread sideways instead of being cropped, which is how a mature tree actually reads in a landscape. Glass tesserae give the foliage depth that a matte surface cannot: the colour shifts as you move past it and as the daylight changes.
The proportions are emphatically horizontal, close to 2:1 at every size, so this is a piece for a long wall — above a sofa, a sideboard, or a bed.
