A tree composition worked to a true square, which changes how the subject sits: the canopy becomes the centre of the image rather than the top of it, and the branches reach into all four corners. Glass tiles keep the foliage from going dull in low light.
Square formats are the easiest pieces to hang well — they centre on a wall without needing anything balanced around them, and they work above a square table or in an alcove where a tall panel would not fit.
